Learning outcomes

• Understand the the HR analytics value chain, how it creates value for organizations and the role that data storytelling plays in it

• Build the story line, starting with the end in mind. Identifying the intended outcomes of the story, working backwards to help the audience arrive at the same outcomes

• Flesh out the story on a storyboard. Identifying the specific messages along the storyline, identifying the specific data insight that supports the messages. Adjusting the storyboard for pace and details.

• Translate the data storyboard in the case exercise into a presentation deck that tells a concise, coherent, and compelling story.
